toothpaste

I just saw a commercial of a guy trying to get "the last bit of "everything out of what he was using. He was using something to get his toothpaste out of the tube, and it reminded me of something that dad had done at home. I think he used a clamp (for paper maybe?) for the very end of it. I don't think he ever let us waste anything, did he? That just got me to thinking about something that he would do! :)

    Light that light-switch extension he made for Tif and Em when they were too short to reach the light.

    What about the wasted water from their filter...he put that into the washer to be used instead of wasted, and the bungee cord around the trash can to hold the bag. I wish I had bounced more ideas off of Dad.
